Rice Krispies treats aren’t just for kids anymore! The classic marshmallow treat is getting delicious upgrades like red velvet, birthday cake and caramel sea salt at the Treat House, opening on the Upper West Side in New York City today, according to Today.com. It’s the first brick-and-mortar bakery dedicated to gourmet crisp rice treats in Manhattan. The marshmallow treats are unique, not to mention kosher, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free. In addition to seasonal offerings, 12 flavor combinations of crisp rice treats will be available each day, such as blueberry pie, pink bubble gum and more. Amy will probably be a big fan of the s’mores crisp rice treat. All in all, it sounds like the innovative treats will be a big hit with kids and adults alike!
